Interview feature writing for the Mahaba Café, West London
Mahaba isn't just a job for my sister. It's our second family.
My son has been employed for nearly two years now. I wasn't sure that would be possible.
The Mahaba Café is a vibrant community hub in Ealing, West London, providing supported internships to young people with learning disabilities and/or neurodivergence.
The organisation fosters close bonds with the learners' families and wanted to showcase this, through two case studies - a lesser-seen perspective and evidence of their significant impact.

Blog writing for SEN Swim
What to pack on holiday if your child has autism or a disability?
What makes a great swimming lesson for children with additional needs?
SEN Swim is a leading London swim school for children with additional needs. They asked for a couple of helpful reading pieces for their community in the run-up to the summer holidays, and were keen to cover what parents should expect from their child's lessons. The blog articles required careful handling of the topic, needed to profile the expertise within SEN Swim, while not being too sales-y or pushy.
